Regulars like Jerry Squillante often find themselves captivated by spiritual performances from Grateful Dead tribute bands that create a magical experience you won’t soon forget.
But let's talk about the real star of the show: the food. The kitchen, overseen by the passionate and talented Josh, offers an array of dishes that defy typical bar food expectations. Diners rave about the Cowboy Burger—juicy and perfectly cooked, accompanied by crispy coconut shrimp and flavorful empanadas. I was particularly impressed by the tostones, which are still in the experimental stage of the menu, yet impressively delicious! Each dish is a testament to Josh’s commitment to quality and flavor.

I always have great time here when the music is playing. Every band that plays here is fantastic and all the days the Grateful Dead bands play is always a spiritual experience. Josh's Kitchen in the back is some of the most amazing food you will ever eat in a bar. The secret needs to be let out. Get there and enjoy. Say hi to the owner Jon if he is there. A wonderful guy.
The Parkside Tavern in Pearl River is a friendly local bar that offers live music, pool tables and a kitchen that has a decent selection of bar food. The drinks are reasonably priced and the bartenders are attentive. The times I’ve been there - for music- the cover charge is low, making it a great option for a fun night out. There is no dedicated parking for this bar, but on the street parking is always easy to find. 2 recommendations for the management: First- move the smoking section away from right in front of your door. Big turn off to walk in and out of that. Second- offer a water station. I spent plenty at the bar, I shouldn’t have had to buy a bottle of water.
Vinyl Meltdown is an amazing band to see here!
The food is awesome and well done. Caught Liliane Brown and her singing is AWESOME!
Came to hang out with no expectations of good food. But after we met Josh in the kitchen, we were very pleasantly surprised!! Not only was he so kind and engaging, but everything that came from the kitchen was DELICIOUS! Cowboy burger was cooked to perfection. Coconut shrimp was crispy and flavorful and so were the empanadas. We were lucky enough to try the tostones that haven’t yet made it to the menu... SO GOOD. The chocolate mousse cake was heavenly! We will definitely be back for games, music and Josh’s food!!!!!
A fun chill place with great bands! We saw TK WALKER! What a cool vibe. But these smash burger sliders were everything I needed tonight. You need to have the fries!
First time visitor. Was greeted with a variety very novel and extraordinary tasty shooter recipes to sample. I HIGHLY recommend the concoction called red velvet cake. GREAT music selection stored in the juke box. All in all this was a great first experience and a great place to come drink. Oh and a huge shout out to bartender Brittany for being super friendly and attentive. Looking forward to going back!
Cheeseburger sliders were pretty on point!!! Delicious!!!
